The medium reports that Nnamdi Kanu;who holds dual British citizenship has been involved in a running battle with the Nigerian government over his secessionist ideologies. In fact, Nnamdi Kanu claims the main aim of IPOB is to create an independent state for the East through referendum. However, Nnamdi Kanu’s pronounced strategy has been the application of civil disobedience in pressing home his demands.
Consequently, this has seen get on the wrong side of the Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government.
Equally important, the IPOB leader is the director of a UK registered radio station named Radio Biafra.
